Grants and Awards

The Second Century Fund gives a number of awards to local recipients:

The Tink Henderson Award

A Glastonbury resident from 1950 until her death in 2002, Tink Henderson worked for over 30 years at the Glastonbury Citizen, retiring in 1988 as editor, and was an active member of the Second Century Fund.

An award in her name is presented every year to a Junior at Glastonbury High School who shows talent in writing and journalism.

Grants

We give annual grants of $250-$1,000, providing educational and outreach programs to the local community.
